Designing a programme of activities on cultural understanding

This course helps participants devise a programme of activities to introduce the topic of cultural diversity and awareness into their youth groups. It is suitable for those working in a culturally diverse youth work setting as well as predominantly Irish groups. It will also outline the practical factors to be considered when working with culturally diverse youth groups.

Duration: One day

Course fee: €50 per person or €400 per organisation.

Designed for: Individuals who engage with young people in out of school settings

Numbers: The minimum number of participants that is required to run this course successfully is 10 and the maximum 25.

This training is available by request by organisations or on demand if enough individual youth workers put in a request for a training to be scheduled
