Exploring Inclusive Youth Work

This two-hour session will give a general introduction to inclusive youth work.
It explains how to engage with minority ethnic and other minority groups in a youth work setting and helps you identify and overcome barriers to involvement. Participants will be introduced to a range of resources. It will provide practical tips on recruitment of young people, volunteers and staff. It will explain the terminology around inclusion and interculturalism.
Duration: 2-3 hours
Course fee: €20 per person or €300 per organisation
Designed for: Individuals who engage with young people in out of school settings
Numbers: The minimum number of participants that is required to run this course successfully is 10 and the maximum 25.
Available by request by organisations or on demand if enough individual youth workers put in a request for a training to be scheduled
